Come Alive Helsinki is a collaborative evangelistic campaign involving churches in the Helsinki capital area, reaching people both on the streets and through evangelistic evening events.
In the summer of 2023, we organized the first Come Alive Helsinki event. More than ten churches in the capital region joined us. The enthusiasm was immense, and everyone wanted to join forces!
We worshiped the name of Jesus in the center of Helsinki and preached a simple gospel in the Töölönlahti event park. Hundreds of people came every day, many of them young people. Over the weekend, dozens of people wanted to repent of their sins and follow Jesus. Several sick people were healed, and many experienced the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Believers were also baptized and connected to churches.
In the summer of 2024, we will once again organize an evangelistic event in Töölönlahti. In addition to Helsinki, we will also preach the gospel in other locations. We will also organize equipping evenings, as well as training sessions on evangelism and discipleship.
